Gura Portiței (Portița)

Un loc inedit pentru cei care vor să petreacă un pic de timp la mare este Gura Portiţei, un sat de vacanţă izolat pe un grind dunărean şi despărţit de stresul cotidian şi de maşini de lacul Goloviţa. La Gura Portiţei se poate ajunge doar cu bacul sau cu şalupa rapidă din Jurilovca, unde se poate lăsa maşina într-o parcare păzită. Traversarea în sine este o aventură frumoasă. Mai lentă cu vaporul decât cu şalupa, întinderea uriaşă a lacului Goloviţa impresionează. Ajunşi la Portiţa, totul este alb, albastru stuf şi nisip. Într-adevăr, în satul de vacanţă s-a făcut un real efort, aş putea spune unic pe litoralul românesc, de a integra construcţiile în peisaj şi de a respecta cât decât materialele, formele şi culorile construcţiilor tradiţionale din Delta Dunării şi de pe litoral. Până şi toaletele sunt integrate în peisaj! Fie în camere spaţioase, la căsuţe sau la cort, fiecare poate găsi ceva pe gustul său pentru o şedere plăcută. La meniu, peşte de tot soiul. Un amănunt trebuie menţionat: preţurile nu sunt tocmai mici şii alternative nu sunt decât tot pe ţărm, la Jurilovca. Totuşi, nu sunt nici exagerate sau nelalocul lor.

Odată instalaţi, vă puteţi relaxa pe plajă sau face o tură cu hidrobicicleta prin lagune. Nuferi, egrete sau pescăruşi vor fi tovarăşii de plimbare.

Gura Portiţei (Portiţa)

An original place on the Romanian seaside to spend a few days is Gura Portiţei. It is a summer village isolated on a narrow strip of land at the edge of the Danube Delta, where stress, cars and the worries of everyday life cannot follow. You can reach it only by boat, crossing Goloviţa lake, from Jurilovca. You can leave your car there in a guarded parking space. In Portiţa, eyes get accustomed with a different perspective, one filled with sand, blue and fresh green. Indeed, a real effort was made to build the resort with materials resembling the ones used for the vernacular constructions in the Danube Delta, like reeds. Walls are whitewashed and a lot of blue is used for doors, windows or eaves. Even the toilet facility is built so that it blends in perfectly. You can stay in spacious rooms, small camp houses or tents, at your leisure. On the menu: lots of fish of all sorts. Prices are a bit high and there are not stores except in Jurilovca but they are still reasonable. 

Once settled down, you can hit the beach or take a ride on the waterbicycle, ideal to take a closer look at the waterlilies, egrets and all storts of wildlife.
