Aproape de Sighişoara, la Saschiz, se vede drept înainte o cetate pe deal. Cetatea este inclusă pe lista monumentelor UNESCO, la fel ca şi biserica fortificată din sat.
Până sus se face o plimbare de maxim jumătate de oră, inclusiv cu popasuri dese pentru a admira peisajul. Dacă vi se pare că cetatea se vede spectaculos din vale, pot să vă spun că şi din cetate merită priveliştea spre sat! Luaţi cu voi ceva de mâncare şi apă şi puteţi face un picnic medieval!
Saschiz Peasant Fortress
Close to Sighişoara on the main road you can see a fortress straight ahead, dominating the road. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list as well as the Saxon Fortified Church in the village.
A half hour walk will get you to the fortress. If you like how it looks from the valley then you will like to have a closer look and then a beautiful view of the village below. It is also a great place for a medieval picnic.
