The "Nicolae Iorga" Religious Art Museum
Nicolae Iorga (1871-1940) founded in the 1920's a religious art museum in Vălenii de Munte. It was run by students of the "Queen Mary" Missionary School (a school which trained young ladies to become teachers all over Romania). The museum still exists today and presents to the public numeroul religious art workd: icons, crosses, chalices, sacerdotal clothes, etc. It is found right next to the "Nicolae Iorga" Memorial Museum.
